My name is Weston Cruickshank, a creative director, photographer, and visual storyteller currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications with a concentration in Media Production. My passion for photography and content creation began at 12 years old when I received my first camera, and from that moment, I became fascinated with capturing the world through my own perspective.
Since then, creativity has become more than a hobby, it has evolved into my purpose. I am passionate about creating visual experiences that feel authentic, cinematic, and emotionally impactful. Whether through photography, creative direction, or content production, I strive to capture moments that feel genuine while transforming ideas into visuals that resonate with both clients and audiences.
My work is heavily inspired by visual culture, fashion, storytelling, music, and originality. I enjoy experimenting with creative concepts, cinematic framing, and intentional detail to create imagery that feels both modern and timeless. For me, photography is not just about taking pictures, it’s about preserving emotion, energy, and human connection through visual storytelling.
Beyond client work, I also aspire to build a print-based extension of my brand by selling original photography prints and curated visual art collections. Long term, my goal is to grow into a full creative entrepreneur while continuing to work in media production, photography, and content creation. I aim to collaborate with influential brands, artists, and media companies through opportunities such as creative internships, editorial production, and programs  that align with my passion for culture-driven storytelling.
Ultimately, my mission is to create work that not only satisfies clients, but also contributes to the evolving landscape of visual culture through authentic and impactful storytelling
